At Aurum Process Technology
we have our own Research and Development department.


It is composed by experienced and up-to-date professionals, who are able to give our clients highly innovative and personalised process solutions, rooted in our extensive experience and know-how.

We are continuously working on our developments to achieve the best results. The aim of our developments is to reduce process time, increasing the productivity and the quality of the end products.

Our tools

Our technical department uses internally-developed programs for calculating thermal processes, showing our many years of experience, working with all kinds of fluids involved in industrial processes.

We use Solidworks for the design of our process solutions, which afford us the advantages of 3D modelling to work alongside our clients to achieve the best possible solution, with a high-quality standard.

We also have specialists working on finite element simulation in order to test our new designs before fabricating them.

This commitment to innovation and development translates into multiple patents in the field of heat transfer technology, such as our T-Sensation process reactor, the Supertrans augmented-surface plaques system, and the ASTUTE scraped-surface heat exchanger.

In order to develop our activities, we have external partners, such as the Centro Tecnológico Nacional de la Conserva (Spain) –of which we are an associated company–, as well as some University departments, such as the Food Technology Development (Murcia University), and Industrial Engineering (Cartagena University).

Lastly, we would like to highlight that we have been chosen as a technological partner of GEA as a result of this innovative activity. GEA is one of the main suppliers for the food industry and a great variety of other industrial sectors involved in process technology.
