Aurum Process Technology has designed, through its ASTUTE® scraped surface exchanger or
its CORRUGATED TUBE heat exchangers, an ASPEPTIC system to treat low acid products. The novelty of this system is the incorporation of our liquid control in the particulates, which allows to fix the weight of the drained products.
The advantages are the same as those highlighted above with respect to IQF, but in particular for vegetables, it has a greater magnitude

We eliminate blanching, which means:
– Eliminating the loss of nutrients and flavours that occurs in this process.
– Eliminating a serious contamination problem, due to BOD in the purification process.

The other issue to consider is the reduction of investment in production, as we reduce the
number of blanchers and, in addition, due to the dimensions of the machine, it can be located in a strategic place to take advantage of the advantages of production costs.

Due to the new formulations incorporating cereals and seeds, and taking into account the high rotation
speeds, these exchangers cause great erosion on the walls (chrome, nickel or stainless steel), producing
contamination in the product of heavy materials and, in addition, adding an enormous operating cost,
due to the high consumption of spare parts.

These are not the only drawbacks of this type of exchanger. Their high velocity shears and breaks up particulates. This shearing results in higher consumption of pectins and starches. ASTUTE® eliminates this problem, does not break, does not shear and reduces maintenance costs.

The other great ally of quality is our pump, through which we guarantee the integrity of the products to be treated and the high working pressures, and also avoid contamination by rubber or foreign parts.
