Cleaning in place phases

- INITIAL RINSE: Clean water flows through the circuit during the specified time and then the centrifugal pump evacuates it.

- SODA CIRCULATION: The temperature of the dissolution is increased up to the required value by using an auxiliary heat exchanger. Then it is recirculated through the line during the specified time.

- INTERMEDIATE RINSE: the CIP solution is evacuated out of the line.

- ACID CIRCULATION: The temperature of the dissolution is increased up to the required value by using an auxiliary heat exchanger. Then it is recirculated through the line during the specified time.

- PIPES DRAINING: the CIP solution is evacuated out of the line.

- FINAL RINSE: Clean water flows through the circuit during the specified time to remove any acid residue in the processing line.

- DISINFECTION: Water is introduced in the circuit and a dosing pump adds disinfectant.

Soluciones limpieza CIP

ALKALINE: They dissociate proteins and they also have a bactericide function. The most commonly used substance is soda (NaOH) in concentrations between 0.2% and 2.0%. The product reacts with the fat deposits and produces tensoactive agents that improve the washing process.

ACIDE: This kind of solution normally uses Nitric Acid (HNO3) 0.5% and Phosphoric Acid (H3PO4) 2%. In case of using other compounds it must be verified that they do not cause corrosion problems. They remove the salts that may have been formed on heat surfaces.
